IACET Accredited Provider
IACET (International Association of Continuing Education and Training) is an independent organization committed to advancing the global workforce by providing the standard framework for quality learning and development through accreditation; in other words, they set a high bar for excellence!
Training organizations must meet exacting standards to be considered for accreditation. Once approved, Accredited Providers are able to offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for their training classes. SafeGard Classes Online has been an Accredited Provider for more than 10 years, ensuring our program and trainings are held to stringent standards and consistently provide a high-quality experience with every class.
Proud Partner of the CDA and the Council for Professional Recognition
The CDA Credential is one of the most widely recognized credential programs in the early childhood education. The Council for Professional Recognition's partnership program assures CDA candidates they are receiving training that meets the Council's high standards and that they are supported throughout the application process. SG Classes Online is proud to have been selected as a partner to the CDA Council.
We offer the full 120-hour education package, either with pre-selected classes specific to your CDA setting type, or with 40 hrs of classes you select. You can also select an 80 hr package which meets the requirements for each CDA subject area.
If you're renewing your CDA, our 45-hour renewal package is also available with classes pre-selected for the setting type or with 45 hrs of classes you choose (also available in Spanish). The renewal package also meets the requirements for some state credential programs.
As an IACET Accredited Provider, our classes earn the CEU's required as part of the CDA Credential process. SG Classes Online has supported more than 1,000 CDA candidates with their continuing education training requirement in pursuit of the Child Development Associate® (CDA) Credentials.

The National Workforce Registry Alliance is a non-profit, independent organization whose vision is "to promote high quality, coordinated, documented, and accessible state career development systems that support a well-trained, well-educated, supported, adequately compensated early childhood and afterschool workforce."
SafeGard Classes Online is proud to be selected as a Recognized Training Organization by the Alliance. Selection requires meeting rigorous standards for quality training design:
- Instructors have knowledge of adult learning principles.
- Instructors have professional knowledge and qualifications to teach in the content area of the training.
- Training provided has clearly stated learning outcomes for the participants.
- Training content is appropriate to and designed for early care and education or afterschool workers.
- The hour or CEU value of training is consistently and properly calculated.
- Training completion is properly documented and stored.
Experienced team
Our authors and trainers, as well as our office staff, have considerable knowledge and experience in their respective areas of expertise.
