Literacy, Literacy Everywhere!
Literacy is not only critical to anyone's success in life, it can enrich our lives through books that take us to far-away lands, inspire us to great achievements and entertain us with witty and humorous stories. Developing good literacy skills at an early stage can give a child a head start in life and set them up for success as they grow.
In this class, you will learn the benefits of literacy and practical methods to teach, encourage and inspire literacy in children. The course will also review language development by age and provide you with a guide to assess each child's abilities. You will also learn specific ideas on how to incorporate literacy into a program.
