DCYF IS NO LONGER FUNDING STARS REIMBURSEMENT FOR FISCAL 2019

The Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) no longer has funding for reimbursement of STARS training classes for the fiscal year 2019.  Child care providers may still get reimbursed for classes completed with the previous 12 months by submitting their application for reimbursement beginning July 1, 2019.

Providers have up to 12 months from the date of completion of any STARS-approved class to be reimbursed.  Eligible classes may be reimbursed up to $250 each fiscal year.  The DCYF fiscal years runs from July 1 to June 30.

Additional funds have been made available for fiscal year 2019.  Please apply beginning Friday June 14, 2019.
