ALASKA CHILD CARE & CDA TRAINING CLASSES

SafeGard Classes Online offers many high-quality online childcare training classes in Alaska. All trainings have been approved through Alaska's SEED system.  See approved classes by selecting Alaska as your state on our childcare classes page. As an IACET Accredited Provider, our classes also earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

The System for Early Education Development (SEED) is Alaska’s early childhood professional development system.  Alaska SEED includes the SEED Registry, a data base supporting early childhood professionals, and the SEED Trainer and Training Approval System, which ensures that trainers and trainings meet consistent standards and content that reflects current research, and aligns with the SEED Registry, Alaska Early Care and Learning Core Knowledge and Competencies, and Alaska’s Early Learning Guidelines.

SafeGard Classes Online offers the national Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential training curriculum in Alaska for both the initial CDA as well as the renewal.  As a Proud Partner of the CDA and the Council for Professional Recognition, you can be assured our classes will meet the CDA Council's requirements for continuing education.  We work closely with the Council to ensure you receive the support and resources to you need as you pursue your CDA Credentials.

Alaska SEED provides financial incentives to early childhood professionals who reside in Alaska with funding of up to $500 for one Child Development Associate (CDA) application or renewal fee per person, per State fiscal year (July 1—June 30), pre-paid directly to the Council for Professional Recognition or as a reimbursement to the applicant.
