APPROVED CLASSES FOR DEL MERIT STARS 10 HOURS

The Washington State Department of Early Learning (DEL) requires all child care professionals to take at least 10 hours of continuing education each year.  We have more than 400 hours of approved classes to meet your STARS hours, including the 30 hour Basics courses to meet your initial licensing requirements.

You can also get reimbursed up to $250 each year for all STARS approved classes.  Be sure to register with the DEL professional registry system, MERIT, to receive your STARS ID number and start tracking your professional development.  Once you open an account, we'll add your completed classes to your account so you can get your STARS credit and apply for your reimbursement.
