Learning Objectives

After completing this class, the student will be able to:

  • list and describe a variety of activities you can direct children to perform to help them focus their attention during circle and group learning times
  • describe at least one song or story you can sing with children to help gain their attention and develop their concentration
  • describe a variety of activities you can direct children to perform to help them overcome social inhibitions and communicate with more clarity and confidence
  • describe a sequence of vocalization patterns that help improve children’s speaking abilities while learning to identify and pronounce letters and numbers
