This is a two part, 3-hour course on basic first aid for infants and children.  It concentrates on the first 5 minutes of first aid and the prevention of emergencies.  This class is for informational purposes only and is not eligible to receive an AHA certification card.

1. The first half covers injury emergencies.  It also provides general information on legal considerations and standard precautions.
2. The second half covers medical emergencies.  It also discusses prevention through the practice of appropriate safety measures.
